Greater Maryland Dental Partners, P. A. (GMDP), is a professional corporation consisting of four multi-specialty group practices. GMDP is one of 19 affiliated dental groups of American Dental Partners, Inc., a leading business partner to dental groups throughout the United States. American Dental Partners' strategy is to provide value-added resources and support to each of the affiliated dental group practices in order that they become the market leading, high quality dental group of each of their respective communities. These resources include organizational planning and development; recruiting, retention and training programs; quality assurance initiatives; facilities development and management; employee benefits administration; procurement; information systems; marketing and payer relations; and financial planning, reporting and analysis.

A brief history of GMDP is as follows:

· The first practice to affiliate with American Dental Partners was the Mintz & Pincus Dental Group  (Waldorf, MD), in September 1998

· The Hill Dental Group (Columbia, MD) joined GMDP in June 1999. In 2001, they moved their office to Clarksville, MD, and became River Hill Dental

· Columbia Dental Associates (Columbia, MD) joined GMDP in February 2000

· Ashburn Dental Associates (Ashburn, VA) joined GMDP in March 2004

· Family Dental Associates (Eldersburg, MD) joined GMDP in October 2005
