I have served this state and our nation in various capacities, as a soldier, and a Maryland state trooper. For the last eight years, it has been my privilege to
continue this tradition of public service as your Delegate in Annapolis. The integrity of the positions I've held in these great organizations and the values that I was taught growing up on a farm in Calvert
County, have made me the person I am today. I have been an effective legislator, capable of working in a bi-partisan manner to improve the State of Maryland for ourselves and for the generations to come. I
have done so without compromising the trust and responsibility that the people of Charles County expect and deserve. My knowledge and experience as a legislator has never been more crucial than now to
advocate for and protect the interests of the citizens of Charles County. In the upcoming 2003 legislative session in Annapolis, we face a budget deficit of more than $1 billion dollars due to irresponsible
overspending by the Glendenning administration sanctioned by the Democratic leadership in the General Assembly. The good citizens of Charles County, Maryland deserve better. They need an experienced
legislator in Annapolis who will work with other legislators from Maryland committed to the responsible stewardship of the tax dollars paid by our hardworking families. |
